It’s been a while…
And as a result. I’ve got something simple for everyone. If you have a mac, you can get an app called GimmeSomeTune that auto-fetches album artwork, lyrics, and sets up hotkeys on your system. One particular feature it has is to set custom “blank” artwork if none can be fetched from Amazon. I’ve made a Media Science one to fill in the void.

Enjoy… and be sure to donate to the developer of GimmeSomeTune of you enjoy the application. I did :]
Klaxons - Gravity’s Rainbow (Todd Edwards Remix)

This song has been remixed dozens of times but I feel that I must give credit where credit is due. This house remix of Klaxon’s Gravity’s Rainbow is so legit. Kudos to Todd Edwards.
The Media Science Smokes, Apparently
I was playing with photoshop and cooked up a 16:10 aspect wallpaper for those of you with the dell / apple widescreens.

Some Vector Work

Due to the travesty of mess I left near our apartment, I decided to force out some more vector practice. I think this pattern would be well suited as part of a crest / shield / coat of arms.
Store Watch: WeSC, Stussy, & Undefeated LA
During spring break I had the opportunity to get to know LA a little better… a city that has not yet been plagued by allover-print and endlessly overcast weather [thanks, bay area]. I scoured online magazines and a few hit lists until coming up with a decisive strategy:
- Downtown LA
- Blends
- Situation Normal
- La Brea
- Volcom
- Undefeated
- Stussy
- Beverly Hills
- WeSC
The day was really successful and I’m really surprised I didn’t get lost for not knowing a damn thing about getting around the city sprawl… gg, google maps… gg. More photos & readables after the jump.
From the Archive: PA
I guess you can call this part of a “series” I did out here in Pittsburgh. This was during a period when my roommate Paul and I were obsessed with DJ Krush- his music and the Yakuza. The pieces are all collages of magazine clippings and sketchbook doodles. Each panel is about 20 in. x 24 in. and consist of foam board, extra large photocopies, paint pens, and good old fashioned spray paint.
